Oilers clip wings, they lead series 3-2
The Detroit Red Wings seem to show a very big problem in recent years, always getting the puck in the net during the regular season, but coming up short in the playoffs, when it really counts. Detroit went 0-6 on the powerplay last night.
I remember when San Jose put us out early years back when everyone (including me) thought the Wings seemed invincible. Edmonton is a Number 8 seed and is one game away of sending Detroit to the golf course early... They need to turn it up Monday night in Edmonton if they want the Cup, especially on the power play.
